KZWS promotes Poland among investors from the European Union

As part of our activity we are engaging ourselves in a number of initiatives on the public forum. We want to actively co-create and develop the young Polish economy by facilitating a safe and dynamic start for foreign investors on the Polish market, but also by supporting domestic entrepreneurs – from the smallest, individual ones, up to big international corporations.

In the first half of this year we have taken or will take part in some important and useful projects.

From 7^th to 8^th March 2010 Tomasz Beger, Piotr Liss and Przemysław Powierza participated in the International Tax Conference organized within the frameworks of RSM International – European Tax Center of Excellence in Dublin. The main topic of the conference were the latest legislation changes in the tax law of individual EU-countries.

From the end of February to the end of April of the current year Tomasz Beger, Piotr Liss and Przemysław Powierza were guests in the TVN CNBC television and they were answering the viewers’ questions in the program “Your Brother PIT” concerning the annual tax returns on the Personal Tax Income.

From 13^th to 14^th  April MM Conferences organized a workshop entitled: “Holding in the light of legal developments”, during which the trainings for participants were led by Bartosz Miłaszewski and Piotr Staszkiewicz.

On 11^th  May 2010 The Association of Accountants in Poland, organized a conference entitled: ”18 years of the Personal Income Tax Act - time for a through restructuring of the system”, where one of the speakers was Piotr Liss.

From 12^th   to13^th  May 2010 MM Conferences organized a conference entitled: “Legislative changes in property tax - the tax practice”, where one of the speakers was Piotr Liss.

From 16^th to 18^th  June 2010, most of the KZWS Partners participated in the European Regional Conference organized within the frameworks of RSM International in Brussels - the main topic of which was the constant improvement of international standards of Client service and the discussion on the latest global trends in respect to audit and tax advisory.

We constantly care about the high quality of cooperation between the member companies of RSM International by ensuring tangible benefits for our Clients: global service at a consistently high level. Anna Lehmann of the Foreign Relations Department, Przemysław Powierza of the Tax Advisory Department and Piotr Staszkiewicz of the Audit Department participated from 21^st to 25^th  June 2010 in an intensive weekly training of RSM International Academy in the scope of international service to our Clients.
